Kaiann 💕💕
On February 12th 2019 my friends little girl was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL).
Her name is Kaiann and she is only 8 years old.

Although there is nothing anyone can say or do that will take the heartache away, I've set up this page in the hope that as a community we can pull together and donate anything, big or small to help Kaiann's parents, Sharon and Mark at this horrendous time.

Kaiann had suffered a series of infections, high temperatures and crippling back pain in the lead up to her diagnosis. On top of the Leukaemia she has also been left with several fractures on her spine resulting in it crumbling.
She is currently in the sick kids hospital in Glasgow undergoing aggressive chemotherapy treatment. Some of the chemotheraphy is through a drip, some orally, some via lumbar puncture into her spine. It's a gruelling journey of relentless medications, some which have caused bad reactions.
In the 1st week kaiann was in theatre three time's, Kaiann and her family have a very long road ahead.

Kaiann will lose her hair, she is aware of the side effects of the chemo, but she is a very brave little girl and during all this pain and uncertainty she recently cut off 17 inches of her waist length hair to donate to the Little Princess Trust. She really is an inspiration to us all and keeps fighting and smiling in spite of it all.

Unfortunately yesterday, 28th February, Kaiann suffered another blow and it was confirmed via an MRI scan that she has a blood clot on her brain. She is receiving injections to thin her blood and dissolve the clot and we are all hoping and praying that she will keep fighting and kick cancers backside!

The purpose of this page is to take a bit of financial stress away from the family at this time, when they cannot be at work as they need to be there to support their precious princess.
