Raising money for Parkinsons research is something extremely close to my heart. On the 11th April, myself and my daughter will be travelling to Windsor to complete our first Ultra Challenge of walking 15 miles.

I have been training in the lead up to this walk, as I know this will test my physical abilities and definitely be a difficult challenge to complete.

Parkinsons is a disease that can be known to effect 1 in 37 people in their lifetime and diagnoses are set to rise by nearly a fifth by 2025.

December 2017, my Dad/ Katies Grandad was diagnosed with the disease, and has been learning to live with the ever growing side effects that Parkinsons sufferers have to face. We hope, with funding research, that a cure in the future is possible, or new medication can be developed to slow the process of the disease or make the lives of people living with Parkinsons easier.
