I've raised £250 to help support Claire and her family enjoy life as much as possible in an unimaginable time if their life

I randomly today bumped into Claire Loriente in Costa Coffee Walkden. I was in the same year at high school as Claire (along with alot of my fb friends). We wasn’t best friends but we did on the odd occassion hang out. Today when speaking to the women and mother she has become i was amazed of her bravery and open optimistic view when i heard she had only been given 12 months to live after battling against the big ‘C’. To add more fuel to the fire, are amazing benefit system once again fails to look after our own (i should rephase that before i am slandered with the you know what card). So Claire has continuously paid into the system by working her whole adult life until this illness to be told unfortunately she wouldn’t be entitled to anything as her partner earns 14kpa. How disgusting!! Luckily she has amazing support from her mum, dad and brother but lets get it right this is there worst nighhtmare also never mind her 13yr old son who is going to lose his mum at a young age of 35. When i got home i couldn’t stop thinking about it all so i mesage Caire to ask if she minded me putting a fund raising page together. so here it is!! I undertstand its a difficult time for everyone but i wads hoping that all my fb friends who went to St Georges RC High School in Walkden could donate even just £1 (and anyone else who would like to donate) to what i believe is such a genuine cause to give Claire a much comfortable and more reassuring 12 months for her and her family. She may prefer to donate the money to a non profitable charity close to her heart that has help her journey a little smoother (if that is actually possible) called “MAGGS”. Not sure what this stands for so maybe Claire can help with this once posted. Please feel free to share ad every littlenhelps and if that slogan works for Tesco I am sure it can work for Claire. Thanks for taking the time to read this post.💝!!
