I've raised £2340 to Claire World Jamboree 2019

Claire has been selected to represent the UK at the World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) in 2019. The WSJ takes place every 4 years and brings together scouts from all over the world giving them the oppertunity to learn about different cultuers and act as ambassadors for scouting in the UK while also getting the oppertunity to take part in a once in a lifetime experience. The WSJ in 2019 is being held in the USA, Mexico & Canada and each participant in given the task of raising the funds to take part. The young people have to organise and plan fundraising events within the local community to raise £3900 required for them to attend the WSJ 2019 which goes towards helping Scouts from less fortunate countries attend as well as towards community projects that she will be helping with while in North America.
Scouting is one of the few youth organisations that pushes young people to develop skills and become valuable members of society along side a programme of fun activites, The WSJ is the pinnicale event in scouting, bringing together the best of the best to learn and share experiences worldwide. To be selected for the WSJ candidates have to take part in several selection events and interviews competing against scouts from all over the UK before the final contingient is then given the task of raising funds to make the journey possible.
Thank you to everyone who supports Claire in her endeavour to take part in this once in a lifetime oppertunity.
