I have been cycling for 7 years after being persuaded to give a try by my late husband. In that time I have become a keen cyclist, not only cycling in this country but travelling to Spain, Portugal and France. I have also completed some challenges in the UK taking part in our club Morecambe to Bridlington and the Coast to Coast - 156 miles in one day. My next challenge is Lands End to John O'Groats.

I am doing tis ride in memory of Richard and have picked these two charities as Richard passed away due to a heart attack and he was very supportive of up and coming cyclists.

The money I raise from taking part in this ride will be split equally between the British Heart Foundation and to help fund Mason Hollyman with his training as part of the Israel Cycling Academy.

Mason is from Emley, West Yorkshire and he hopes to become a professional cyclist and has been lucky enough to secure a place in Spain as part of the academy training camp.
