I've raised £1197 to fund a memorial bench in honour of Clare Busuttil

Clare was about to return to work as a Nurse, 6 months after giving birth to her baby girl, Sophie, sister to Ben when she was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in April 2016 at the age of 33.
Clare underwent chemotherapy followed by a hysterectomy which then unveiled a tumour on her bowel resulting in further surgery, more chemotherapy and blood stem cell therapy. She went through all of this with a smile on her face and with love and god in her heart. She always made time for everyone and was always positive about her treatment even when she felt so poorly.
Clare was due to finish her treatment in December 2016 and return to her Mum, Brenda’s house in time for Christmas before returning to her Husband and Children in Malta. However Clare went into cardiac arrest and was placed into an induced coma and subsequently passed away on 14th December.
Clare has been laid to rest in Malta where she fell in love and married the love of her life, bought her first home and raised her 2 beautiful children, Ben who is now 7 and Sophie who will soon be approaching her 3rd birthday.
Clare’s family and friends would like to raise the money for a memorial bench located in Kingsthorpe Park in the UK which is located close to her family for times of reflection, sorrow and happiness when events such as birthdays and anniversaries come and pass, giving them comfort and a feeling of closeness to Clare when they cant be with her in Malta.
Any amount that you can donate will help us get closer to our goal of being able to provide Clare’s family and friends with a memorial bench dedicated to Clare.
Wishing you and your families “Love and Light”
