We are a very passionate care farm for special needs students in Essex working with our local commuinty, mental heath teams and schools .

Over the last year our main therapy pony Joey‘s health has started to deteriorate with breathing problems. Last year he had four lots of steroid injections and five lots of antibiotics. This year our vet has advised that Joey will need to go on to a Nebuliser to suport his breathing, which will enable him to continue the amazing work he does at the farm. Joey has a huge impact on so many students lives here at the farm, his sessions support people with anxiety, sensory issues, confidence building and problem solving. He even follows our students around when they are feeling low and in need of a cuddle. He is dressed up, painted, bathed and loved so much.
