I've raised £2000 to Purchase and donate a Cuddle Cot to Hampshire hospital,Basingstoke where Davi-Jayce(RIP) was born. We Believe in CUDDLES EVEN AFTER DEATH.

Giddeon and I have been married for 16 years in July. We have four children :( two on earth and two in heaven). Davi-Jayce was born on 11 Sept. 2017 at Basingstoke and North Hampshire hospital at 22 weeks+2 days (485grams).Davi-Jayce,lived for 80minutes.
We’ve accepted the fate but the loss of a baby leaves everlasting and indelible pain that may take years to ever heal.
We had an amazing team of Doctors, nurses, midwives and healthcare support staff who guided us all through the process till his final destination at the children's Garden at Worting Road.
Davi-Jayce never lived long on earth but we had the most precious moments with him with the use of a “Cuddle Cot”. It is a small cooling unit that can be placed in a bassinet, crib or small bed, slowing down the chemical breakdown that happens so soon when a baby dies. This gives the family more time to say goodbye. This equipment is designed to keep a baby cool to allow their family to spend up to 72 hours with them and it can be taken away and used at home to take their time saying goodbye. It is for this reason, therefore, that I am Skydiving4Davi4Cuddles because I know how devastating it feels when you hold your precious baby in your arms and you don't want to let go of him or her. We wish other parents experiencing child loss to have a chance to spend more time with their babies.
Funds raised will be used to purchase and donate a Cuddle Cot to the hospital where Davi- Jayce was born. A cuddle cot may not heal other bereaved parents’ hearts but I hope the extra time the family can get with their babies helps them in their healing journey.
