I've raised £1800 to go on a volunteering trip to Kenya, where I will be renovating a school and community, and teach the children Maths and English

In April 2019, I will be taking part in a trip with EitC and African Adventures in which I will be going to Nakuru, Kenya, to help a community. During the trip, I will be teaching the children in the local school maths and english skills, helping renovate and build parts of the school, and bringing an element of fun to the school day by leading sports activities for the kids. Also, there will be the opportunity to help the local community by doing any repairs or building the area requires.
In some places in Kenya, there are only 4 teachers per school, so the team of 22 volunteers I am going with will have a huge impact on the lives of the people over there. I am hoping that the skills and games we teach the kids, and the improvements we make to the school in the 10 days we are there will have a lasting effect, and that I will make a real difference.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
