The invaluable service offered to learning disabled & vulnerable parents by the Plymouth Parent Advocacy Project is under threat as funding is increasingly squeezed & budgets are cut. The project benefits so many vulnerable adults who, without this support, would really struggle with the child protection & court process, and it's devastating to imagine a time when it is not available due to a lack of resources. It gives those who really need it a fighting chance of understanding & involvement in complex proceedings, and it is vital that the project survives.
