Story

Clay County Cat Care is a not for profit organisation which helps save and rehome cats from all backgrounds. i.e from broken relationships, owners have passed away, they have been dumped, also many that have been hurt, injured and the owners are unable to pay for treatment, we then step in and help save the cat. We are in the process of building and converting a new building so we will be able to help more cats in need. We will have separate areas for isolation, main re-homing building and a kitten room, we would also like to offer a room for people to come and meet the cats and have a place they can spend some time with them. We will also have a vet consult room where our local vet Fiona Rawlings will come to the rescue and see the cats in our care, that need treatment, this will minimise the amount of stress caused to the cat by travelling to the vets. The rescue has been open just over 5 years and we have rehomed well over 1000 cats and kittens in this time. What we would like to offer is not just more space for the cats and kittens but also work experience and volunteer opportunities to many people. We will also have a lovely wooded area for supporters and visitors to sit and enjoy a drink and a chat with one of the CCCC team. With your help we will be able to offer so much more to so many more animals and people. Please help us by donating towards our cause.
