    Story

    Dear friends,

I have spent the last year saving hard for a transformational trip at a health retreat in Ecuador and it has given me all the belief, strength and confidence that I can make my dreams happen. I have played guitar all of my life and in the last ten years I have had a vision to acquire the skills necessary to build guitars myself and one day to pass these skills on to others. This is my passion and I dedicate all of my spare time to researching guitar building and six years ago did some work experience at the Warwick Bass manufacturing facility in Germany, which fueled my passion further.

With all of this drive I only lack the physical practicality of the course fee and accommodation costs for the three month duration and when somebody recently suggested 'why not use a crowdfunding platform?' I thought 'what have I got to lose?!'

I don't expect this money for nothing as I appreciate these are difficult times for everyone, which is why I have created a list of services I would like to give you in exchange for your kindness and support:

    £1000 - Custom-made, hand crafted one-of-a-kind guitar!
£100 - 6 x 30 minute guitar lessons on Skype (gift vouchers available)
£75 - 4 x 30 minute guitar lessons on Skype (gift vouchers available)
£40 - 2 x 30 minute guitar lessons on Skype (gift vouchers available)
£25 - Birthday Gift - a unique musical telephone call to your loved one!
£20 - 1 x 30 minute guitar lessons on Skype (gift vouchers available)
£10 - A posted copy of my duo's EP on CD 'Something's Got to Give'.
£5 - A Youtube Link to a special performance on the first guitar I build!
    £££ - other suggestions welcome :)

    BREAKDOWN OF MY COURSE COSTS:

£4750 - Tuition Fee for Totnes School of Guitar Making
    £395 - Course Materials
£1560 - Accommodation fees for three month stay
(minus - £850 Deposit which I will fund myself)
    Total = £5855

Thank you so much for your support in advance, sending you much love & appreciation...Clayton x
