I've raised £600 to To fund tools weed killer and disposables to help us clean the town up please support us Cleethorpes residents pro action group

I am looking for donations from local people to help me with my project to start clearing up bad areas around town that have been neglected by the council and the residents, its getting to a point where the town is looking scruffy in areas there are problems with rodents and smells from feces and urine and rotten food rubbish - the money would to towards paying for disposables like bags and gloves - tools to cut down bushes and weeds and small trees that are growing between cracks in concrete - chemicals to kill the weeds so they dont keep coming back time and time again - dissinfectant to clean and remove the odour - ppe so the volunteers need not risk hurting themselves or becoming ill - and also for disposal of the rubbish by a waste carry liscence personel.
In the photos above are examples of just 1 alleyway in cleethorpes - a couple of minutes down this alley revealed heavy concrete fence posed smashed to bits - bags of rubble including plaster bricks tiles etc - weeds and bushes so think it is hard to gain access at all - bottles full of urine - empty beer bottles - syringes - beer cans - general rubbish including rotten food old clothes plastic boxes etc - its disgusting and will take alot of man hours to resolve but with your help im willing to give up my time to do it along with any other volunteers i can get.
600 seems like alot of money but its really not considering the amount of resourses needed to complete the job safely and effectivly - if the funds are raised i would make a facebook group called the grimsby cleethorpes residents action group which would be updated with photos etc
i will also be contacting ward councilors and local businesses personally to try and gain extra funding for this project -
We really could make our town a better place to live for all families this could inspire other residents not to treat the town like a dump and to have some pride in where we live - please donate to the cause every little helps :)
