TheThe Rutland family and friends are putting on their walking boots (Boots make Bucks) to complete the Maidenhead Boundary walk on Sunday 1st October.

The aim is to raise funds for one of Janines relatives (Clemmie Jarrett) who has been severely physically challenged since birth. She is now 6 years old and is a real little fighter with so many hospital admissions to critical care in those years.

The idea for the walk came after we watched her complete a 100 metre walk in her specially adapted walker at the recent Parallel London event in the Olympic Park. You can't begin to describe the effort she put in to cross the finish line but also the magic moment when she wanted to share her medal with her proud parents.

We decided there and then to start help raise funds for the expensive equipment and medical help Clemmie needs on a daily basis and for many years to come.
