Thank you to all supporters of Cley Harbour as we enter 2024 with further extensive de-silting and other work planned. Cley Harbour is a local community project which acts to improve and maintain the harbour to the benefit of the parish and visitors, whilst always having concern for our place in a special natural environment. The first phase of de-silting the channel at the quay and below the flood gate took place in 2022, supported by funding from this JustGiving site. A canoe rack and steps were added this year to make access easier for rowers and paddlers.

Our ambition is to ensure this part of the River Glaven remains accessible to all its users, from the quayside out into the Blakeney pit. In 2024 this will involve additional de-silting of the channel around the quay and further re-profiling of the eroding banks downstream, and for this reason we have extended our JustGiving target to support these works.

The Cley Harbour Committee would like to thank all those who so generously support our events such as Cley Advent Windows, Carols on the Quay, Cley Harbour Day, and also through JustGiving. JustGiving proposes donations from £20 upwards, but if you wish to give a smaller amount simply type over the suggested figure (minimum £2).
