Story

Curly Tails is a pig sanctuary in Newton Longville, just outside of Milton Keynes. They take in unwanted pigs and give them a safe and loving home for the rest of their natural lives.

Jane has been keeping pigs for 9 years, and with the help of family, friends, fundraisers and donations she set up and runs Curly Tails Sanctuary for pet pigs to have a loving home.

Unfortunately in August 2018, Jane was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer and has been having chemotherapy. This means she needs extra help, money and support to keep Curly Tails Sanctuary to the standard the pigs need.

That's where we come in. Karli and Spencer met Jane through Tesco in December 2017 as Tesco donated leftover food to the pigs. Karli, along with her husband and 12 year old daughter have been involved with fundraising for Curly Tails and have built up a relationship with Jane and the pigs.

We want to help! On March 16th 2019 we will be climbing Scarfell Pike in Cumbria. Scarfell Pike is 978 metres and is England's highest mountain! The walk is 5.8 miles and is estimated to take about 4 hours. None of us are of high athletic ability (although Spencer will dispute that 🤔😂) so we are going to be training in order to ensure we complete our mission.

All we ask is that you dig deep and donate anything you can for this cause that means a lot to us. For the pigs, for Jane and because F*CK you cancer, that effects so many of our lives.

We are hoping to raise £1000 for Curly Tails and £1000 for breast cancer.
