Story

Several years ago my youngest daughter started visiting the small, privately run reserve at Mankwe, South Africa where she found her passion for wildlife conservation and in particular the preservation of the rhino. She and the friends she travelled with were so taken by the plight of these creatures in their struggle against encroachment into their environment and, most of all, the alarming rate of poaching that they started their own charity called "Let Rhinos Roam Free" to raise money to go towards the running of this small privately funded reserve. Rhino poaching is a violent and disgusting trade where adults and juveniles alike are slaughtered for their horn which has no medical properties whatsoever. Small reserves like Mankwe desperately need our support in order to continue their work protecting these wonderful and fascinating creatures. Please give as much as you are able and be assured that every penny you donate goes towards looking after these amazing animals and preserving them for us, our children and, hopefully, generations to come.

Thank you, Giles.
