On Saturday 21st April I will be joining a plucky group of parents and friends attempting to walk BAREFOOT over a very long bed of red hot coals to raise money for the "A Class of Their Own Charity"

A Class of Their Own is a parent led initiative whose aim is to improve the learning environment of Winsley Primary School in Wiltshire.

We are a village school that is proud to teach children of all abilities. Our pupils with additional needs and their parents are able to come to an outstanding school in the knowledge that they are being taught in a suitable environment for their needs. Pupil numbers have increased dramatically over the last 4 years and the infrastructure of the school is starting to strain under the pressure.

The aim of the charity is to future proof the school so that we can continue to provide an outstanding learning environment to all our pupils both now and in the future.

Our goals:

£50,000 would give us a new learning environment

£80,000 would give us this new area and enable us to refurbish a very tired mobile classroom that isn't currently accessible to all and

£120,000 would enable us to replace this tired classroom as well as provide the additional learning environment

The result would be a village school that has the facilities to continue to accommodate all pupils and provide an all-inclusive environment.
