Having just turned 65 I thought it was about time I entered a Triathlon so I will attempt to complete the Blenheim Palace event on Saturday 7 June.

My aim is to raise £500 for Speen Helping Hospices, a dedicated group of women from Speen and North Dean in the beautiful Chilterns, Buckinghamshire. Their mission is to support four local hospices: Helen & Douglas House for Children, Rennie Grove, Peace Hospice Care, and South Bucks Hospice at Butterfly House - Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity. These hospices provide essential palliative and end-of-life care services to individuals in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

The need for these services is profound. With limited funding, these hospices increasingly rely on the generosity of our community to continue offering their vital inpatient and day hospice services.
