I've raised £250 to Donate to RAIBC in memory of Clive Wankling G6DOF

In memory of Clive Wankling G6DOF who passed away quite suddenly on 18th November 2021 after falling ill with coronavirus.
Clive was never happier than when with his radios, either working on them or using them to speak to other like minded radio hams. It is with this in mind that our family have decided to raise funds for the RAIBC in his memory. Please donate as much or as little as you feel you can, leaving a short message if you would like to. All messages will be relayed to his family.
The RAIBC is the charity working for amateur radio enthusiasts with disabilities.
Amateur radio often appeals to people with disabilities as it enables communication without leaving the home. It is a way to ‘travel’ the world and meet its inhabitants despite ones health problems. It is also an excellent form of self education in communications equipment, electronics and the effect of the weather and the sun on communications. Much, if not all, of this can be accomplished and enjoyed no matter what ones disabilities are. In addition there is no minimum activity required. An amateur can do as much or as little as they like or are able to do. Great satisfaction and enjoyment can and will be had.
