We are Closed Door Theatre, a company ready to address issues that are affecting contemporary society. We are taking a show to Edinburgh Fringe this summer which tackles the topic of coercive control within relationships, something we feel needs more awareness. When we raise over £4600 we are donating every penny to Women's Aid, a charity which is in theme with the theme of this play.

"What is your idea of love?There is a very blurred line between a protective loving relationship and one that's abusive. When there are no visible scars just mental ones how do you escape when you are trapped?"

A story of a budding journalist and how her past relationship and events have had reprocussions on her current life. How does she use this newfound platform and how does this help her get closure, if at all?

We are a small but ambitious group of young and hardworking actors currently training at ALRA, The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts based in Wandsworth. The ensemble consists of, Katie Levett, Lexi Powell, Nia Powell, Will Hollingworth, Rafei Barakat and directed by Elliott Cass. Performing on the 13th - 18th and 20th -25th of August, TheSpace on the North Bridge, Fife Theatre.

We are really excited by this opportunity and can't wait to show you what we've created and raise money for charity in the process.
