Facts Behind the Fabric Event

We are a group of four Creative Events Management students at Falmouth University who are organising our final event of our degree. Because of the Pandemic we are unable to run an event in person and have come up with a creative online event we are all passionate about.

We love all things fashion and want to celebrate this, but we also recognise the need for change in the fashion industry to become more sustainable and support fair and equal rights for workers.

We are therefore running an online sustainable fashion auction of pre-loved, upcycled and sustainable clothing!!! The aim of Facts Behind the Fabric is to raise awareness of the issues in the industry and we want to take advantage of the rise in online shopping while providing more sustainable options. The profit from sales will be going to the charity Fashion Revolution: https://www.fashionrevolution.org/

However, as we have now started implementing our event plan we are asking for donations to make sure we can make the event as successful as possible

To fundraise for this we will be doing a beach and park clean in our local area of Falmouth, Cornwall.
