Story
Clyde Powerchair FC will be the first ever Scottish club to represent their country at the Champions Cup in Switzerland during August 2020. This is the powerchair equivelant to the Uefa Champions League.
The Clyde PFC committee have a large task on our hands to raise the funds needed to take the players and carers/families to this prestigious event, a task we very much believe we can achieve. It is estimated £20,000 will cover flights, accommodation, transport of sports chairs and meals for the 5 day competition.
As well as making history, this event will provide the players with precious memories which they can cherish for life. Each player has a different form of disability, which effects everyday living. Through Powerchair football we provide a normality of life through a sport many love. This upcoming opportunity provides the players with a special occasion to look forward to and highlights the achievements they have had so far in winning the National Premiership League and Scottish cup during the 2018-19 season.
If you could spare a donation to help us reach what seemed an impossible dream a few years ago, then it would be very much appreciated by all at the club. Please share with as many people as possible.
