We are honoured that Kenneth MacNab has agreed to take the Freedom Trail Challange to raise funds for the CFT. He will walk heights of 2500m from France to Spain, all in order to support fishing communities and culture.

The Clyde Fishermen’s Trust (established by real fishermen) is about giving communities their pride heritage about their fishing and Maritime past and future.

The CFT hope to educate through educational outreach and help transform local communities by helping them connect with their coast and its potentional.

Oral history, visual art and drama will all be utilised in community summer schools etc, responding to local childcare needs. The benefits of healthy cooking and seafood will be promoted.

Local regeneration projects especially around coastal areas will be promoted, to help transform and build local coastal communities both urban and rural.
