Thank you for taking the time to check out our page.

We are the Cardiff Met Cricket team (Current British University Colleges Sport National Champions), and we are hoping to tour Sri Lanka in March/April 2024 which will be, for the majority of us, a once in a lifetime opportunity to promote our University and to play cricket to a great standard against local colleges and charitable foundations. The tour has been coordinated alongside our Global outreach team, Transnational Education department and alongside our partners in Sri Lanka.

Whilst in Sri Lanka we will play cricket games, run coaching clinics, support charitable foundations and undertake a range of philanthropic activities. We hope to raise money in order to support our players to travel and to donate both items and their time to the people of Sri Lanka.

We would love for this opportunity to be inclusive to all those that have been chosen so we would love to reduce the cost as much as possible to support those that may not be able to afford such a trip. Therefore, we have taken it upon ourselves to organise a range of different fundraising events to help us raise some money.

So, what we ask from you, is if you could please donate whatever you can to us throughout these different events and support us in getting to Sri Lanka. If you cannot afford to donate anything, it would still mean a lot to use if you could just share our page around!! We will continue to update this page with the different events we will be running.
