Story

We're asking the wider community to come together to help us raise money for laptops.

As more and more students engage with remote learning, it is clear that a large number of our students have limited, shared or even no access to the equipment needed to join in the lessons, meaning that they are missing out on their learning.

Following the recent BBC appeal, we reached out to our local community to help our students by asking them to donate redundant equipment to the school. The response was amazing and in the last 2 weeks we have given out over 100 laptops to our students - but we are close to running out and are nowhere near filling every gap.

Many people who didn't have redundant equipment to give asked if they could donate money to the school instead, in order that we could purchase the equipment needed.

So here we are, with our fundraising page. We hope to raise £5000 to purchase as many laptops as we can. But whatever amount we raise we will be grateful and it will make a huge difference to our students.

Equally, if you are able to donate any useful equipment, please contact Mr Innes at a.innes@cns-school.org and he will contact you to make the necessary arrangements.

Many thanks to you all .
