Weʼve raised £175 to show our support for staff involved in the ramraid attack on Egerton Road Co-op.

    Story

On 21st May 2017, the Co-operative shop at corner of Egerton and Gloucester Road was hit by a ram-raid attack, and a staff member was threatened with a gun and badly injured with a hammer. No-one should be attacked or intimidated in their place of work, and the psychological and physical after effects of this could be devastating.

While we may never be able to catch the perpetrators, we can show support and solidarity to the shop staff, who are always kind, helpful and dedicated. Please donate what you can to the cause. Everything raised will be donated to the shop to distribute to its staff*.

*Note that JustGiving will take a 5% cut of the money raised. If you'd rather donate differently, see the Egerton Road facebook page for more details.
