I've raised £50000 to Help fund a not-for-profit company set up to remove plastics, general rubbish and discarded fishing equipment from the shoreline of Wales.

Thousands of tons of plastics, general rubbish and discarded fishing equipment wash up on the Welsh shoreline every year. With nobody dedicated to the removal of this toxic waste around the entirety of the Welsh coast, Coastline Guardians CIC was formed to tackle the problem. With regular patrols of the coastline, this unsightly and toxic problem can be brought under control. Huge swathes of the Welsh shoreline are not accessible by foot, but rubbish doesn't care where it washes up, yet it still needs to be removed from the ocean cycle and not be allowed to break down and pollute our planet with micro plastics, and manmade waste that kill ocean dwelling creatures through entanglement and ingestion. The only way to remove this rubbish is by the use of a boat and access this pollution from the sea, and it's my goal to raise enough money to purchase a vessel so that the coastline of Wales can be kept free from this pollution that is killing our oceans. When the oceans die, we all die. And the oceans ARE dying.
I understand that times are difficult for everyone and lots of charities want your donations. This isn't a war in another country, it's not a drought, famine or a need for medical equipment thousands of miles away, this is an environmental emergency on YOUR OWN shores.
Please give what you can and help Coastline Guardians CIC become successful in its task.
