What is crowdfunding?

Story
earlier this evening my elderly next door neighbour who is 87 got burgled whilst in his home the two nasty men stole £1800 pounds of his savings my next door neighbour is obviously shaken up about the tragic situation so we are looking for an donations so we can buy him some cameras so he can feel safe in his own home many thanks for reading
