Coisir Ghàidhlig Chàrlabhaigh is a Gaelic Choir based in Carloway, Isle of Lewis. Many of our members are based in Carloway but most live in different parts of the country and join choir practice by Skype. Recently the whole choir has had to be meeting through Skype due to the Lockdown. The Choir usually fundraises by holding four or five community events each year however it has so far not been possible to raise any funds this year due to COVID-19. The Choir brings together people of all ages to learn Gaelic songs and improve their Gaelic language skills. We look forward to competing at the Royal National Mòd each year but we also love being part of the Carloway community and organising local events for everyone to enjoy.
