We are fundraising money to keep COLCHESTER AMATEUR BOXING CLUB afloat!
We are a registered Community Amateur Sports Club, and rely on membership subs in order to keep the club up and running. The club is run by a small team of volunteer coaches and committee members. Due to not being an official charity, we are unsure we will qualify for any government help/support in this time!
We have been advised to close the club in order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, and we need your donations to ensure that we have enough funds to be able to re-open the club when we are able to!
We are Colchester's oldest amateur boxing club, and any of our members will tell you how important boxing is to young people in order to promote general fitness, discipline, respect and positive mental health. A lot of our members use the club as means to stay out of trouble and keep off the street.
We are now looking to the community for any donations they are able to spare in order help us and keep us open!
