Story
So as a lot of you know already my sister Geraldine and her husband Philip had their little girl Chloe born Still on the 26th May this year, 31 weeks gone. The maternity ward in Daisy Hill hospital where amazing, unfortunately their Bereavement unit in Daisy hill had not been opened yet. During her time in the hospital she was allowed quality time with Chloe with help of the hospital’s cold cot as well as the outstanding care by the girls on the ward.
While in the hospital Philip and Geraldine were told that they only have one Cold cot available for use. So they have decided they would try and give back to the unit after all they did and are starting to do fundraising in different ways to help with the new suite!
There are 4 stillborns born each week in Northern Ireland, which is hard to believe! Its only when someone close to you is affected it really makes you think and want to help!
