On average one man every 2 hours takes his life in the UK. It's often said a factor is that men don't talk. We need to break down this stigma and support men struggling with mental health issues. We just want to get men TALKING!!!! To raise funds I am personally going to do a 'dry' January whilst walking 20-25 laps of Horden Welfare Park football ground which equals approximately 5 miles every day of January. Any money raised will be for an Andy's Man Club hub to be held at the ground starting in February. Anyone who knows me knows a 'dry' January won't be the easiest thing for me to do and walking 5 miles a day on my 60 year old knees will be a real test but I am determined to do this not only to raise some funds for a great cause but also go some way to losing some weight which I have always struggled with over the years.
