Glentoran Social Partnership is a registered charity set up to provide ongoing support by providing meals, clothing and overall support to the community of East Belfast and beyond. The work is carried out by volunteers and all work is only enabled by the generosity of the Glentoran family. Our fundraising will also support the homeless in and around Belfast by collecting clothes, food and toiletries which are handed over in the city centre. Over the years relationships have been developed with homeless charities and community groups. Our fundraising will also support seasonal parties for the elderly and children such as Christmas and Halloween and also donations help deliver individual programmes for community groups based in the vicinity of the club.

The aim is to ensure that no one feels left out or in need. Our volunteers respond daily to requests for food, electricity and overall assistance from those who just cant afford to provide for their families. Evening events such as the Pop in and Play, set up for children to come on an evening, play football and meet the Glentoran players is proving more and more popular because parents know they will be fed and therefore do not have to worry about providing food that night.

These are difficult times and the Glentoran family has always been generous in its support. We will continue to do all we can to support those in need across the local community.
