I've raised £2500 to raise funds for covering the funeral expenses for my beloved husband Colin.

Colin Henry Gillett unexpectedly passed away from crohn's disease which flares up and cause Cardio-Respiratory failure due to septic shock, severe metabolic/respiratory acidosis on 7th September,2021. To say that we are shocked is an understatement and unfortunately we are not prepared to pay for repatriation at this time. Colin was a wonderful husband, friend, teacher and above of all a wonderful human who touched the lives of those around him and many other people and husband a family could ask for and I am lost without him. I am raising money to cover the cost of repatriation. I’m overwhelmed by the support shown so far and can’t thank you all enough for helping our family during this time
Colin dedicated his life to the poor street children, orphans and brickiln brickiln communties of the slum areas of Lahore, Pakistan. He came to Pakistan on mission trip in1st August, 2017. He got married with Sunita Gill and started to work on his mission. He opened the school for poor and orphan children where the high quality education is giving to them free of cost. He freed many brickiln people from modern day slavery, started a food bank for poor and brickiln communties and a shelter and food program for strays or homeless dogs under the umbrella of OWWM. He did lot of goods deeds and children and people loved him.
We are all devastated by Colin’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral repatriation. We want to give Colin the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
Know that your support means everything to us as we navigate this painful time. Even though we were anticipating the passing of Colin Henry Gillett, nothing has prepared us for this immense feeling of loss and sorrow. We know that Colin Henry Gillett loved you all very much, and we, as a family, appreciate the kindness you have extended to us.
Many of you have reached out to us and have asked how you can help us during this time. We really want to honor Colin's wishes and plan the celebration of life that he expressed wanting before he passed away. If you are able to and comfortable doing so, we would really appreciate any donation, big or small, towards his celebration of life.
