Story
Colin Paterson, Site Manager for Clancy Construction's Port Ann project, has chosen to support a local charity that is making a real difference to people across Mid Argyll. Alongside his son, Kai, Colin is taking on a fundraising running challenge to raise money for Moving On Mid Argyll (MOMA), helping to support the vital work they do throughout the local community.
Moving On Mid Argyll (MOMA) supports individuals and families facing difficult circumstances by providing practical assistance and essential household items through a range of local partner organisations, including housing associations, social services and support agencies. Through its 'starter packs', MOMA helps people access the basic household necessities they need to establish and maintain a safe and comfortable home during challenging times.
In June 2025, MOMA launched its Food Share Hub to provide healthy and nutritious food to anyone in Mid Argyll experiencing food poverty. With ongoing cost of living pressures affecting many households, demand for this service continues to grow. The charity works tirelessly alongside local businesses, volunteers and partner organisations to ensure support reaches those who need it most.
Through our work in the area, Clancy has seen first-hand the positive impact MOMA has within the community. Their dedication to supporting vulnerable people, reducing hardship and strengthening community connections makes a genuine difference to lives every day.
That's why Colin and Kai are proud to be raising funds for MOMA. Every donation will help the charity continue providing starter packs, food support and practical assistance to local people and families who need it most.
No donation is too small. Your support will help MOMA continue delivering vital services and ensuring that nobody in our community is left without the basics they need to live with dignity.
Thank you for supporting Colin and Kai's challenge and for helping Moving On Mid Argyll continue its incredible work. Together, we can make a lasting difference across Mid Argyll.
