    Story

As a lot of people know 3 years ago our little Isabella had a terrible accident where she got burnt by hot water on a camping holiday. Because of the burn she got toxic shock where her organs started to fail and she became very sick. She was rushed from Broomfield Hospital to Birmingham Children's Hospital where they saved her life. She was on life support for over a week, endured several skin grafts, bugs including MRSA, she had to learn how to walk, talk and eat again. After a month in hospital our amazing brave little girl was allowed home to then carry on with her scar management.

Isabella, her sister Jessica and Isabella's Dad are all doing the nuclear mud race on the 19th May along with a group of amazing children who along with their families have supported us through this tough journey. We can never thank the people who helped Isabella enough but we would like to raise a little bit for these charities to show our heartfelt appreciation; Birmingham Childrens Hospital, Ronald McDonald House and the Childrens Burns Club who continue to support us. Birmingham Hospital are obviously NHS funded but are currently trying to renovate their playground for the children which without help wont happen. Ronald M House provided us with accommodation whilst we were in Birmingham free of charge, they are an amazing organisation that are funded purely by charity who give families like us one less thing to worry about whilst their child is in hospital. Children's Burns Club, who operate out of Broomfield Hospital, provide children who have suffered a burn injury support and counselling going forward. Children can meet others who have gone through a similar experience.

Once again thank you for your support, if you can donate, nothing is too small, everything helps. Thank you from Isabella, Jessica, Natalie and Colin x
