Colinton Cattery goes 30 metres in the sky for Fife Cat Shelter!!!
Here at Colinton Cattery we spend 365 days a year providing care to hundreds of well loved feline friends. We are so lucky to be doing a job we love, with so many different kitty characters, personalities and caring owners.
Unfortunately this is can be said for all cats in Scotland.
Fife Cat Shelter work tirelessly taking in stray or unwanted cats, getting them the care they need and finding them the best possible home when they are ready.
Fife Cat Shelter are a self-funded charity. This means they rely on donations of money, food and litter to keep going.
Our team are taking to the skys and conquering fears to help raise awareness for the unwanted cats needing our help.
“Fife Cat Shelter was established as a registered Scottish charity in 1993 and as with most charities it is run by volunteers, and is entirely self-funding.
Many people ask why there is a need for organisations such as Fife Cat Shelter, and the sad truth is that the need is there because of the horrendous number of abandoned, stray cats. We re-home on average, over 400 cats and kittens a year. This does not include some old timers who are sometimes offered a home by one of our supporters, or those cats who have to be put to sleep through illness or severe injury.”
