Story

On November the 8th 2017 my waters broke 13 weeks early and I was rushed into theatre after having a placental eruption.
Our Beautiful baby boy harrison Michael Quinn was delivered by emergency c section at 12:29 in the afternoon weighing 2lbs 2oz and he was small but perfect in every way and very very much loved.
Harrison's big sister Serana was so very happy to have her gorgeous baby brother and we were so proud to be his parents and although it was looking like he would be in hospital for some time to come we were so excited at the thought of bringing him home when we could.
Harrison was such a strong little boy and fought so hard with his whole being and he was even breathing without a ventilator which took the doctors by shock!
On the morning of the 15th I was in my hospital bed expressing milk for my boy (which I was so happy that my body would allow me to produce as with harrison being so premature this was such a gift and I felt like I was managing to provide in a way for my son), four people came into my room to tell me that he had taken a turn for the worse, my heart skipped a beat "How could this happen? We where told that harrison had developed a condition called N.E.C, Harrison was then put onto multiple medications and was extremely poorly, the following week and 4days where a blur and to our absolute devastation it became clear that the best chance for our beautiful baby boy was to not let him suffer anymore and on the 26th of November 2017 we held our boy as he slipped away peacefully at ten to 5 in the afternoon our hearts shattered forever.
During the time that Harrison was in the neo natal unit he had a extended family because when your baby is in there they have around the clock care and LOVE which was so comforting as a mother to know that my baby was in the best of hands.
The machinery that was used for harrison going to the hospital alone was a quarter of a million pounds!!!.
Please help us raise some money for a cause so close to us xxx
