Weʼre raising £1,000 to fill the shelves of Colmers Farm Primary School's new library area with beautiful, inspiring books.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

Colmers Farm is a dual form entry primary school that doesn't currently have a library. They have worked so hard to get the budget to create an area for this now, but just imagine a library with no books to fill the shelves!

So now it's up to us to do all we can to provide these children with, educational, inspiring and wonderful books that will ignite that love of reading in so many children for years to come! I'm an Independent Usborne Organiser with the means to really make a difference, not just to the current pupils at Colmers Farm Primary, but to those starting in years to come.

But I can't do it alone. I'm seeking local businesses and anyone in the community to make donations to ensure their bookshelves aren't left empty!

In addition to the money raised here, Usborne Books at Home will donate up to an additional 60% in FREE books. SO FOR EVERY £10 DONATED, THAT COULD MEAN AN ADDITIONAL £6 IN FREE BOOKS. My target of £1000 would actually mean £1600 worth of books for the new library. Any donation is greatly appreciated and really will make a difference to the Colmers Farm community.
