Story
Please sponsor us to get really muddy, have lots of fun and raise loads of money to support our good friend Oliver Henshaw.
On 14th July at 11am we are doing the Yorkshire Young Mudder Obstacle Race. We will be racing over some fun and challenging obstacles, putting our adventure skills to the test by working with our friends to conquer obstacles including jumping, climbing, crawling and swinging. The end goal is to support each other by working as a team, whilst having lots of fun and getting really, really muddy!!!
Friendship is really important to us and sadly this year one of our friends, Oliver, was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma which is a form of childhood liver cancer. He is currently receiving treatment at the Leeds Children’s Hospital so we would like to raise some money to:
1. Say thank you to the amazing people at the LGI who are helping Oliver get better & have made every day in hospital more bearable for him & his family
2. Support the play team on Ward 31 who have kept Oliver and all the other poorly children entertained during their stays
3. Give Oliver and his family a great day out.
It would be great if you could sponsor us, we promise to let you know how much money we all raise, what we spend it on and just how muddy we actually get.
