Weʼve raised £505 to Come Closer Christmas Blessing Parcels distributed through local charities

Funded on Friday, 18th December 2020

    Story

At Come Closer we partner with local organisations to provide blessing parcels. The charities include MK Act, MK Storehouse, MK Money Lifeline and other agencies. At Christmas time, we package luxury products, including makeup, hand creams, body spray and other small gifts that are distributed to the charities' clients. For MK Act we also include a special gift along with the lovely beauty/cleansing products.

UPDATE 19/11/20: We've just had the final count in, and more blessing parcels than last year have been requested. Although our initial thought was to raise to £250, with this increase in demand, any support/donations you can give are so appreciated.

This year we will not be doing our usual packaging evening due to COVID restrictions. Instead, a small team will package the items together. However, we still want you to be involved!

Here are some ways you can help:

Send a financial gift: If you would like to give a financial gift you can donate via this just giving page. If you don't feel comfortable with this you can contact Emma for details. emma@comecloser.org.

Send a Message: We would love for you to send us a blessing message, which we can print out and pop into some of the parcels. You can send your message to blessings@comecloser.org.

Purchase items: You can purchase items from the Christmas Blessing parcel shopping list. You will then need to contact Emma (emma@comecloser.org) to find out a local drop off point and date so that we can ensure social distancing.
