Story
Comfort bags contain small items such as shampoo and shower gel, toothbrush and toothpaste and a comb, so that at times of need you can freshen yourself up. These bags are originally designed for the Margaret Kerr Unit at the Borders General Hospital, but the Scout Group thought it should be widened to more than just relatives of dying people, such as a parent whose child has been rushed in and they need to stay overnight or an expectant parent waiting on the birth of their child. We will be doing various fundraisers to subsidise this project and we will welcome donations however small. Everyone has been touched by someone who has had a stay in hospital and can agree small comforts can make a huge difference. Thank you. :-)
