Story
Tandem Theatre has run the Mustard Tree Drama Group each week for over five years, and they need constant fundraising to continue their good work.
The group runs weekly at Mustard Tree for any participants who wish to join. Tandem Theatre create a safe space where group members can express themselves whilst working together to create original theatre which is performed for public audiences.
The participants come from all walks of life, and greatly value the safe space and encouragement they are shown which leads to increases in confidence, employability and life opportunities.
The group has recently performed at The Royal Exchange Theatre, at the National Homeless Film Festival, Manchester Museum, Nexus Art Cafe, Z Arts, Salford Arts Theatre, and Whitworth Art Gallery. The group also attend professional theatre productions and cultural events.
Please give generously, as the group relies on charitable grant funding that is neither constant nor guaranteed. 100% of the money raised* will be put towards this deserving charity (* net of JustGiving's fees).
