Story

Our dedicated team from JH and Oarpel Community Support is taking on the ultimate endurance challenge of the Equinox 24 on September 21st 2025 – a grueling 24-hour continuous run to raise funds for something that will transform our local community and support services. Josh (Founder of JH Community Support), Jake (Senior Support Worker), Tracy, Lindsay, and Mandi (Support Workers) will be pushing their limits, with each team member completing 10KM laps in rotation throughout the entire 24-hour period.

This isn't just about their personal achievements – it's about creating lasting change for the people we support every day. We're raising money for a community mini bus that will serve not only our clients but will be shared/rented across various local support companies, dramatically expanding transport options and opportunities for some of our community's most vulnerable members.

This mini bus will open doors to day trips, social activities and community engagement that many of our clients currently struggle to access due to transport barriers. Every mile we run and every pound raised will directly impact the lives of people who deserve better access to their community and the world around them. Please support our team as we literally go the distance for those who need it most. Thank you!
