The 2.6 Challenge can be any activity you like – from running 2.6 miles to holding an online workout with 26 of your friends. Check out ‘how to get involved’ for more ideas.

Whatever your age or ability, you can take part. After all, we’re not looking for superheroes. We’re looking for Home Heroes.

Bearded Fishermen Mental Heath Awareness and Suicide Prevention Charity

Originally we setup to support mental health awareness and suicide prevention, which is our main objective, we offer support and counselling with peer to peer and group support sessions. We also have the means to help with homelessness and mental and physical abuse within our partnership with other charities and groups. We have been growing very quick and now have 10 volunteer’s currently working within the home based telephone support and drivers with more adding to our waiting list daily. We have looked into further expanding our community's support services once the Covid 19 epidemic is over.

We run both the telephone support and online support 24/7 365 days a year and have continued to run our weekly support sessions via video link . We are community based but serve Lincolnshire.
