Story
Bingley Community Kitchen is a local organisation located within Trinity All Saints C of E Primary School. It is a newly refurbished facility available for community use outside of the school day. The community kitchen has six workstations where parents and children can learn cooking skills together.
The community kitchen began with a desire to help needy families to eat nutritious meals through the 'cook and eat' sessions organised during the school summer holidays. It is now developing into a space where families on a low income can learn and explore the world of food as well as find meals that are quick, easy and healthy.
During the current corona virus pandemic, volunteers have cooked nutritious take away meals for families in need and vulnerable adults living within the Bingley area and are now providing Christmas treats for children and their families.
We run solely on donations from the local community, friends and colleagues.
