Story

ladies and gents. As some of you are aware, every year I do my bit for charity.

This year my chosen charity is “audrinas fight against neuroblastoma “.

This little girl goes to school with my son tommy and after reading this story and shedding some tears I have decided to try and help.

Audrina is 4 years old and was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in July 2018. Since then she has spent her birthday in hospital, has endured 4 surgical procedures, 5 rounds of chemotherapy and a stem cell harvest. She has had surgery in December followed by high dose chemotherapy starting on new years eve, stem cell transplant, radiotherapy, 6 months of cis retinoic acid and most likely immunotherapy.

The risk of relapse in neuroblastoma is very high and when it does relapse there is only a 1 in 10 chance of survival. This is why we want Audrina to be able to have DFMO. This is a new drug that has been created to reduce relapse of neuroblastoma and save lives. This drug is only available in America and will cost over £200,000. Therefore, we need to fundraise so we can get this treatment for Audrina and ensure we fight this disease with everything we can.

I will be starting the ball rolling by holding a charity night at the bubble inn on Saturday 26th of January. Full details to follow tomorrow as I will be planning and scheming tonight as the clock is ticking.

If anybody can or will help by way of donation for a raffle or anything else that may help, then please inbox me.

God bless x
