Story
Going through chemo therapy includes a lot seclusion and loneliness especially with company of a pleasant and playful nature. Due to contamination and dangerous pathogens he finds it difficult to spend time with his younger family members and people on the outside world. Declan was diagnosed with a lymphoma on his lower spine and has to now go through chemo therapy as treatment, as well as possibly going through radiotherapy afterwards. Declan's story is one that should be known, he is an amazing guy and will never give up. This is because he is a fighter and he will fight forever, even after his treatment I'm sure he will hold on to this experience for the rest of his life and he will help others who get put in his position in the future, as that's the type of guy Dec is.
A Friend and I thought that we should do something to help and I suggested what better way to raise money than to make a fool of ourselves. That's why if we reach our goal of £400 a few friends and we will be dyeing our hair ridiculously bright colours, this way after we have dyed our hair, we are hoping to spread awareness of Dec's story, as our hair should attract quite a lot of attention and people will ask about why it is we have such extravagant colours? We can share Dec's story to all those who will take the time of day to learn about his situation.
The point of this fund-raiser is to get Dec a cancer recovery puppy as we hope it will help boost his confidence and self esteem and will help him get back onto his feet. The puppy will also be able to help Dec with concentrating on something other then his treatment and his cancer.
Dec is not the only kid that suffering from something like this, there are hundreds of cases of child cancer and this is also what we want to raise awareness for not just for Dec but for all that have suffered.
Thanks for taking time out of your day for reading and I hope you can share this around to reach as many people as possible.
