On October 1st of this year I will be taking part in the 10k run during the Bournemouth Marathon event to help raise funds to sponsor me for a trip to Peru in 2017.
The money raised would help me go on this trip. On which I will be doing many things. The things I want to be able to do there the most is helping the local communities and people of Peru . I will help volunteer workers to build wells for local communities so that they have fresh clean water.
We will also be assisting in helping to build schools for education.
In addition our group will also be walking up to Machu Picchu and seeing other places in Peru to help us understand the culture and history of the country.
Any help you can provide in assisting me would be very much appreciated.

8 years agoToday I did the 10k run at the Bournemouth Marathon Festival. My target time was 1 hour and I got 58 minutes and 34 seconds. I am extremely happy with my time and extremely exhausted.

8 years agoThis weekend I raised money by washing my granddad's car on Saturday for £5 and today I did another car boot sale which got me £22.80. So altogether this weekend I got £27.80. I also did another 5k run to practice for the Bournemouth 10k. 6 days until the 10k run.

I 'm a 16 year old student who has been inspired by the opportunity to travel to Peru to help local people, learn some new skills, and overcome my dislike of Heights climbing Machu Picchu. Raising the money to go is also a big challenge for me, employing different methods.
